Raglan decreases, demo by Karla
For this description the stitches are counted from the outside starting at 1 going towards the center of the machine to higher numbers. (opposite to the numbers on the needle number tape)
1 right: 6 prong fully fashioned decrease, then knit 2 rows
1 left: move stitch 7 onto 6, then move with 6 prong tool 1 st to inside. (counting from the edge stitch inwards). Then knit 2 rows.
2: move the outside 6 stitches inwards 3 places, knit 6 rows, repeat.
3 right: fully fashioned decrease with 3 prong tool (1, 2, 3 on 2, 3, 4), then one lace (5 on 6, needle 5 is empty and in working position)
Or with 7 prong tool |||.|.. move 1 needle to inside always having the three up prongs to outside.
3 left: place needle 6 and 5 on 2 prong tool, transfer 4th to 6th, put 6 and 5 back on the original needles from 2 prong tool, then move outer 3 stitches one needle in. Knit 2 rows and repeat.
4: fully fashioned decrease with 7 prong tool, knit 1 row,
fully fashioned decrease with 6 prong tool, knit 1 row,
fully fashioned decrease with 5 prong tool, knit 1 row,
fully fashioned decrease with 4 prong tool, knit 1 row,
fully fashioned decrease with 3 prong tool, knit 6 rows,
repeat
5 right: use two 3 prong tools, put st 1, 2, 3 on one, 4, 5, 6 on the other. Move 4, 5, 6 to 10, 11, 12 and 1, 2, 3 on the now empty 4, 5, 6. Knit 6 rows, repeat.
5 left: use a 6 and a 3 prong tool. Take outer 6 stitches (1-6) on 6 prong tool, the next 3 (7, 8, 9) on 3 prong tool. Move the 6 stitches by 3 to inside (on 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), then replace the stitches on 3 prong tool to original position. Knit 6 rows, repeat.
